Fairylady

Shes here, holding space on the other side. A tiny consciousness, more aware of you than you are of her. But present none the less. A small fragrant crown of flowers wraps her delicate head and she is illuminated by a soft light that seems to beam out from within her. She flits around busily in her own world of stewarding the deeper side of nature, a side we can catch a glimpse of every so often if we can learn to look and listen.

Three sprites gather around a fly agaric mushroom, what mischief could they be plotting?

I have a few variations of this. Been having fun with silhouettes lately. Might add more at a later date.

Vintage Fairy Tale Mushroom Nap Scene

The banshee (bean sí in Irish) is a ghoulish figure from ancient Celtic fairy lore. She is said to appear as an omen of death, wailing and crying outside of the home for a loved one in the house who is soon to die. She is a pretty terrifying figure. Legend has it that the banshee only wails for five different Irish families. I am a descendant of one of those five families, so I felt compelled to portray this wailing wench in all her spooky glory!

Beware the fae folk who infiltrate your home! Folklore warns us of the risks, from changelings to brownies to boggarts to fairies. For the sake of your families, your farms and your fortunes, think twice before letting the small folk into your homes!

She is almost ready to step into her throne, she is ready to claim the highest of magic.

This drawing is based off of a girl who is a plant and human hybrid. She has a large frilly dress that is pink. The dress is based on historical fashion. She has bug like antenna. I hope you like this character! I drew it using procreate.
