Haworth Pillows

Home of the famous Bronte sisters this part of the village which they lived in has been preserved and one can really feel how it must have felt for the sisters when tehy were writing their classics like Wuthering Heights. (Not that i know they were living here when that particualr novel was written). A great place to visit whenever you are in the West Yorkshire region. The West Riding of Yorkshire, or part of it at least, can be seen in the distance. Originally a photogrpah transformed into an oil painting effect using GMX Painter.

The imposing home of the Bronte sisters entirely collaged in marbled bookbinding paper. It gives a bit of an impressionistic feel.I've tried to give a sense of light coming from the house against the backdrop of a bleak day in Yorkshire. The front door is white now, but was dark when the Bronte's lived there. I've kept the door dark so the eye is drawn and it invites the viewer in.
