This is a single 30 second exposure of the M8 Lagoon Nebula and M20 Trifid Nebula, imaged with a Nikon D810a and Explore Scientific 80mm Apochromatic Refractor.

This image of the Lagoon Nebula was shot on my back porch with a Celestron CPC 1100 SCT and a Nikon D7100.

This artwork was created using watercolors with the Lagoon Nebula in mind for the background. The dark background makes the twelve pointed silver woven star stand out.

This lighthouse is located on the southern edge of Mallorca island far from the city lights, and this makes an amazing view of the stars and the Milky Way. I tried my best to capture this amazing scene with all the details possible, and I hope you like it!
