This is the second of two images selected by the Pasadena Art Gallery Association for their 'Contemporary Masters, Artistic Eden IV' exhibit at the Pasadena Museum of History. The exhibit will run from October 1 through January 11, 2015. This image, which is a composite of 4 2 second exposures, was taken at the Del Mar MetroLink station in April, 2014.

I managed to get a good balance of 'image background blur' creating that 'element of motion' along with the eagle's flight movements by 'panning the camera' and awaiting to depress the shutter as the eagles wings moved into full extension.
