Don Quijote of La Mancha

This is one of my favourite books, it's a quite long book but it took me only few weeks to finish it! The characters and the plot are amazing, their adventures will conquer your heart as well, so this is my homage to them, to Miguel de Cervantes and Spain!!!

I called it "en La Mancha" because the painting is executed by blots and dabs of paint, an assembly of stains. Being a don Quijote fan, I love anything to do with Quijote and have done several paintings featuring don Quijote, Sancho and other aspects of the novel. This piece is of don Quijote’s fight with the windmills.
