Looking out from a railway carriage at the Norwegian landscape between Myrdal and Bergen. This was near Myrdal, having just enjoyed a journey on the Flåm Railway. It's late September, and the trees are changing colour and are blending into the mists over the distant mountains - already with a smattering of snow. The image has a chalk pastel finish.

Steam trains used to run between Noojee & Warrigul. about 48 kms, carrying timber out & mail, supplies & people in. The line was closed in 1961, but the reserve is still used as a walking trail - including this glorious old trestle bridge! Noojee is in Gippsland, Victoria, Australia.
