Moonlight and reflections

Palm Reflections Sketched - is an art print I created using a pencil sketching and watercolor technique. This technique uses sketches to define the subject and warm watercolors to finish the scene. This particular wall art print depicts palm trees reflected off the water of a pond. The setting is Papago Park in Phoenix, Arizona. Papago park is located next to the zoo and the botanical gardens.

There is a lake in Austria, a very small lake called the Green Lake that is absolutely stunning in color. Unfortunately this lake has been 'discovered' by divers, thanks to a National Geographic image and is now overrun by divers. In 2016 the lake had to be closed to diving so it could 'catch its breath' as it was full of algae and the normally mesmerizing turquoise color had turned to an algae green. Summer 2016 iphone 6

Desert Reflections on Aruba in Horizontal Format appear as a kaleidoscope in this "reflected" scene of a desert tree, cacti and rocks. The blue sky appears as water but is simply a reflection of itself.

I feel very lucky to live close to the ocean. Every time I see this amazing view I feel inspired to capture it.
