This picture displays Mount Ruapehu (dormant volcano) in New Zealand. I painted this landscape with oil pastels on 27-02-2014 from the photo which I took when I was in New Zealand in January 2014. The size of the original painting is 65 x 50 cm.

Mt Ruapehu rises from the Central Plateau, in New Zealand's North Island, popular for hiking and skiing.
