井伊直政: Ii Naomasa, 赤鬼: Akaoni, literally "Red Devil", in the background is the kamon (family crest) of Ii, Maru ni tachibana (丸に橘) or "citrus Tachibana in a circle", and the statue of Naomasa in Hakone.

Sanda Yukimura(真田幸村), or actual name Sanada Nobushige, was a Japanese samurai warrior of the Sengoku period. He was especially known as the leading general on the defending side of the Siege of Osaka. The kamon of Sanada clan is Rokumonsen (六文銭) or “Six coins”.

Shima Sakon (島左近), also known as Shima Kiyooki (島清興), was a Japanese samurai of the late Sengoku period. Shima eventually left the service of the Tsutsui, and eventually joined Ishida Mitsunari under the banner of the Toyotomi Clan. At the Battle of Sekigahara, Shima served as one of Ishida's higher-ranking officers, commanding a unit of 1,000 men. Some sources suggest Shima led musketmen and that his position had cannons. He was shot in the battle and forced to retreat. His fate remains somewhat of a mystery since he was not on the battlefield after the battle. Some say he died of his wounds about one month after the battle or died trying to escape. The kamon of Shima clan is Maruni Mitsu Kashiwa (丸に三つ柏) or "Three Leaves Oak in Circle"

The Fukushima clan (福島) was a Japanese samurai clan that known for their daimyo in sengoku jidai, Fukushima Masanori, which is also a retainer of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, he fought in the battle of Shizugatake in 1583, and soon became known as one of Seven Spears of Shizugatake which also included Katō Kiyomasa and others. This is the kamon (family crest) of the Fukushima clan, Fukushima omodaka (福島沢瀉) or “Fukushima threeleaf arrowhead”. Below the crest is “Fukushima” in kanji.

Ōtomo clan was a Japanese samurai family whose power stretched from the Kamakura period through the Sengoku period, spanning over 400 years. The clan's hereditary lands lay in Kyūshū.

Toyotomi Hideyoshi (豊臣秀吉) was a preeminent daimyo, warrior, general, samurai, and politician of the Sengoku period who is regarded as Japan's second "great unifier" after Oda Nobunaga. He succeeded his former liege lord, Oda Nobunaga, and brought an end to the Warring Lords period. The period of his rule is often called the Momoyama period, named after Hideyoshi's castle. After his death, his young son Hideyori was displaced by Tokugawa Ieyasu. The kamon of Toyotomi clan is Goshichi no kiri (五七桐) or "Five Seven Paulownia".

Akechi Mitsuhide (明智光秀) was a samurai and general who lived during the Sengoku period of Feudal Japan. Mitsuhide was a general under Oda Nobunaga, who then became famous for his rebellion against Nobunaga in 1582, which led to Nobunaga's death at Honnoji in the Honnoji Insident. The kamon of Akechi clan is Tokikikyo (土岐桔梗) or "Japanese bellflower".

Tokugawa Ieyasu (徳川家康) was the founder and first shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate of Japan, which effectively ruled Japan from the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600 until the Meiji Restoration in 1868. Ieyasu seized power in 1600, received appointment as shogun in 1603, and abdicated from office in 1605, but remained in power until his death in 1616. He was one of the three unifiers of Japan, along with his former lord Nobunaga and Toyotomi Hideyoshi The kamon of Tokugawa clan is Mitsuba Aoi (三葉葵) or "triple hollyhock"

最上義光: Mogami Yoshiaki, 羽州之狐: The Fox of Ushu, in the background is the kamon (family crest) of Mogami clan, Futatsu Hikaryo (二つ引両) or "Double line", and the armor of Yoshiaki.

Takenaka Hanbei (竹中半兵衛), or Takenaka Shigeharu (竹中重治) is a retainer from Mino who eventually serves under Hideyoshi. His known historical exploits are plain and commonplace for the era, but he has been celebrated after his death to be Hideyoshi's genius strategist. Folklore states that he was known as "The All-knowing Hanbei" (知らぬ顔の半兵衛) who traded wits with his friend, Kuroda Kanbei. The kamon of Takenaka clan is Maru ni Kumai Sasa (丸に九枚笹) or "Nine Bamboo in Circle".

Ii Naomasa (井伊直政) was a general under the Sengoku period daimyo, and later shogun, Tokugawa Ieyasu. He is regarded as one of the Four Guardians of the Tokugawa along with Honda Tadakatsu, Sakakibara Yasumasa, and Sakai Tadatsugu. The kamon of Ii clan is Maru ni tachibana (丸に橘) or "citrus Tachibana in a circle".

The Saito clan (斎藤) was a Japanese samurai kin group from Echizen Province. The clan claimed descent from Fujiwara Toshihito. Saito Dosan (1494–1556) was the father-in-law of Oda Nobunaga. Dosan was attacked by his own son, Saito Yoshitatsu, and died in battle. Later, the son of Yoshitatsu, Tatsuoki was defeated by Oda Nobunaga in 1564, and the clan disappeared. 武田信玄: Takeda Shingen, was a pre-eminent daimyo in feudal Japan with exceptional military prestige in the late stage of the Sengoku period. 甲斐の虎: "The Tiger of Kai" is the nickname given to Takeda Shingen for his martial prowess on the battlefield.

The Tokugawa clan (徳川) was a powerful daimyo family of Japan, known for the daimyo Tokugawa Ieyasu, founder and first shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate of Japan, which effectively ruled Japan from the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600 until the Meiji Restoration in 1868. The Akechi clan (明智) is a branch of the Toki clan, which is descended from the Seiwa Genji, thrived around the later part of the Sengoku period. The clan is known for the Head of clan, Akechi Mitsuhide who trapped Nobunaga at Honnō-ji and forced him to commit suicide. The Akechi then gained power due to the collapse of the Oda clan. Later that same year, Akechi Mitsuhide was slain at the Battle of Yamazaki, twelve days after the Incident at Honnō-ji. The Akechi clan then fell from prominence. Ouchi clan (大内) was one of the most powerful and important families in Japan during the reign of the Ashikaga shogunate in the 12th to 14th centuries. Their domains, ruled from the castle town of Yamaguchi, comprised six provinces at their height, and the Ouchi played a major role in supporting the Ashikaga in the Nanboku-cho Wars against the Imperial Court. The Ii clan (井伊) is a Japanese clan which originates in Totomi Province. It was a retainer clan of the Imagawa family, and then switched sides to the Matsudaira clan of Mikawa Province. The Shibata clan (柴田) was a Japanese clan that had originated during the Heian period (12th century) of Japan. The Shibata clan of Echigo province were notably related to that of the Shibata clan of Owari province. The Shibata clan of Echigo were descended from Sasaki Moritsuna, a supporter of Minamoto no Yoritomo and a son of Sasaki Hideyoshi. The Shibata later became retainers of the Nagao clan, which was under control by the famed Uesugi Kenshin.
