Stylized design of Hati and Sköll. In Norse Mythology, Hati and Sköll are the two wolves that chase the moon and sun respectively, trying to devour them, never quite catching either (they finally do during ragnarok which will cause the sky & the earth to darken and collapse).

A design inspired by the ying and yang symbol but with a nordic twist. The two wolves of Nordic mythology Skoll and Hati who chase the sun and moon through the skies.

In ancient times, brother and sister - Mani and Sol ( Moon and Sun ) sometimes stopped their run in the sky, to see what happens down, on ground, and lingered for a long time in one place. Many were unhappy with this.. Therefore, Odin, the father of the gods, gave them two shadowers, two giant wolves. This was sons of Fenrir - Hati "He Who Hates", or "Enemy" and Skoll "Treachery". Day and night they hunt brother and sister, and when they get too close, eclipses occur..

Hati and Sköll are two gigantic wolves, chasing the sun and the moon. During Ragnarok they’ll finally catch the sun and the moon.

Skoll and Hati are the sons of Fenrir and grandsons of Loki. Sköll and Hati chase the horse-drawn chariots of Sól and Máni, the personified sun and moon respectively, every day and night until they finally catch them, marking the onset of Ragnarok.
