There's too much pressure to talk, am I right?! And besides, any drama teacher will tell you that words are overrated. Reaching silently with emotions is better any day.

As improvisers, we only know one joke; it goes something like this... "185 ____ walk into a bar. The bartender says, 'we don't serve ____. And the _____ say, something funny." You fill in the blank, and we'll fill in the something funny. Now, can we get a suggestion...?

Whoosh is the best onomatopoeia for while you're playing an improv game, wishing on a shooting star, or just when you're running out of a room.

Learning a new skill as an adult can sometimes be difficult and even frustrating. This is something I tell my students. Often we don't even realize we're doing this. It's important to check in with ourselves. What challenges us today, might not challenge us tomorrow. Be kind to yourself. amandarountree.com
