I was hired to design England and WW2 themed iPhone covers by a third party. This was their final pick in the sketches I had provided, yet they never actually purchased the last product.
So here we are. I was personally more fond of my other sketches, perhaps I will complete some of them at some point too~~!

“…A few years later, Irene hired Raven Darkholme, a consulting detective, to help her make sense of her diaries. The two found that they shared a desire to use their powers to change the world. Not long afterward, they became lovers. Although the pair deeply cared for one another, they parted periodically, took up other lovers and even raised separate families…”
There is this story about Raven Darkholme aka Mystique and Irene Adler who is known as Destiny. I found it very interesting and different. So I choose Mystique with this story for my 4th Marvel Villains Design Contest entry. I know, she is not looking like a usual “villain” here but well, she was on the list man. And no one said she should look “evil.”
I add some Sherl...
Calypso Ezili was the first female villain I saw when I was a kid, somehow I was amazed by her. She was a Voodoo Priestess and she sacrificed her younger sister for increasing her own powers. She drove Kraven the Hunter mad because of his hatred of Spiderman, and it led him to suicide. I wanted to illustrate the “story.”
I made a group of illustrations like this back in 2012 for a contest, few of them got approved and none of them won, yet I enjoyed working on these a lot.
This is Hel, Hela of the Norns, Halja, the Death Queen, Mistress of the Darkness, Asgardian Goddess of Death, Ruler of Hel and Niffleheim, daughter of Loki.
My other illustration for the “Marvel Villains Design Contest” entry back in 2012.
Hela was born in Jotunheim, the other-dimensional land of the giants, one of the “Nine Worlds” of Norse mythology, and she is the daughter of the Asgardian god of mischief Loki and the sorcery wielding giantess Angerboda. The three Asgardian goddesses of fate, the Norns, are said to have warned the Asgardian gods that Hela would prove to be a great danger to them.
Odin, ruler of the Asgardian gods, decreed that Hela would become goddess and ruler of the spirits of the dead on the day of h...
This is the Aviator Girl I illustrated back in 2011 for Abney Park’s Steampunk RPG. I added my signature digitally since back in that time I wasn’t very prone to signing my work. When drawing I called her “Abigail” or “Blue”, she is part of an Airship crew that launches those extra aviators. She is watching an another airship fly pass them in her free time.
