The ASM-N-2 Bat was one of the first "fire and forget" weapons- an self-guided, gliding bomb in WWII used to attack ships and naval assets, it would use primitive radar to fly itself to its target.
I use the Bat as a totem for someone special to me, helping them to not dwell on responses to others that are out of their hands (sent emails, texts, etc.).
