It's a good day to be a banshee. You do not agree ? This work is the first in an upcoming series on women in legends and mythology. From the descriptions found in the books, I imagined and shaped my version of the banshee, Irish fairy heralding a coming death. My banshee is pretty cool, almost smiling, a bit creepy but totally harmless so welcome her!

This work is part of a set of 5 paintings, it is the second in the series. I wanted to convey an idea of the subject's gentleness, which contrasts with the style and technique that can inspire a certain harshness. It's the strength and gentleness of the family bond.
