An assemblage of mystical symbols calling to the soul for introspection with the aim of transformative magic.

Taking a design cue from Capernicus, Heliocentric is a representation of our solar system with alchemical zodiac and elemental symbols, an omniscient eye, an ever watchful Ouroboros and an orbiting comet. The snake represents the continuity and nature of birth and death. The zodiac alchemical.symbols reflect our birth moment individuality while the orbiting comet represents that once in a lifetime chance. The center eye represents the collective subconscious as well as the concept of conventional wisdom- what we believe to be reality. Capernicus risked everything to prove the sun was the center of our solar system.. What is common acceptance now was radical and dangerous once.

A nod to Greek mythology and the story of spring. The artwork is about transformation. The symbolic imagery rests amid a sacred space created with geometric form.

Allegory to Spring, nestled within sacred geometry and utilizing numerology, is a call for transformation.

A full foliage Tree of Life is bordered by an Ouroboros (the snake that devours itself). The tree is the embodiment of Gaia, the earth, earth energy. The Ouroboros (in this composition) represents the "whole" or All. The Triskelion hinted in the root area represents the past, present and future. Paradise is so easily lost, so often taken for granted. This work is a homage to our home, Gaia (Earth), which by all definitions is a paradise. A fragile paradise.

My interpretation of a sugar skull utilizes the natural world- decay and renewal- in a field of faded zinnias and young pumpkins. A reference to the continuity of life.
