Since playing Journey years ago on a trip to NY to visit my best friend I FEEL IN LOVE WITH EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! Everyone is the same no boundaries from language, race, religion etc. Just a chance to connect to people through our emotions. A few months ago I hit a road block and needed to paint something more fun and freeing. Jouney instantly came into my head and well, this is the result!

Originally a commission for Chris! He came to me with an idea of an armored, winged figure facing something dangerous and ominous. He let me have a lot of creative freedom with it and it was so much fun to do! I really loved how it came out and Chris allowed me to make prints of it. ✨

Sailor Moon!! Aah I remember watching Sailor Moon before I even knew what anime or manga was haha! My childhood friends and I would actually act out fight scenes and transformations! I've always wanted colorful hair like anime girls but it fades so fast! They have it so easy, haha! This was a lot of fun to paint. The colors make me happy even though her expression is a bit somber.

Witch hats are so fun to paint! Here's a star witch I painting last year for a convention. I'd like to think she's obsessed with making the perfect shooting star.
