Stop Buying Fast Fashion. Volunteer and Educate Yourself.

Humans are in for a rude awakening if we do not take action on climate change now. We can all help the planet. We can change the little things we do in our daily lives. We can have a huge impact on climate in spite of lack of support from our governments. Our purchase power should not be underestimated. We can change our course. We can make a difference. We have these choices every day. As Greta says “Your never to small to make a difference.” But this piece is about how I see her. I see her as ray of light and hope in a dark time for the planet and all life on earth. I see her as a protector of the earth and all living things great and small. As she said in her infamous UN speech the real power belongs with the people.

My husband has been telling me for months that my Force is Within art looks like AOC and it sure does fit with her iconic red lips 👄 and the GREEN NEW DEAL. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is becoming one of my favorite political heroes. She is synonymous with the Green New Deal. I for one am very grateful that she is out there fighting for all of us by trying to protect the planet and promoting creating more jobs in sustainable energy and moving off of fossil fuels. Climate Change is an existential crisis and she is facing it head on. This is to honor and support her fight. 🌎 🙏🏼♥️
