Summer of love was inspired by my garden, I have some beautiful giant red poppies and orange California poppies in a flower border. when the sun is shining the colours and textures look amazing. I have used bold bright colours and I love the finished result. The work was created on canvas size 50 x50 x2 ,using acrylic paint applied with a palette knife& brush.

Evening Glow is a stunning tribute to the summer garden in its final moments of glory. As the sun dips below the horizon, the flowers burst into a dazzling display of light and color.

I have been fascinated by Botticelli ‘s‘ Birth of Venus ,possibly my favourite painting. I adore the symbolism in the painting and I decided to include Venus in one of my spring landscapes.

A Japanese Spring is a painting that has been in my mind for some time: I have a fascination with Cherry blossom (Sakura) and love that it is highly revered in Japanese culture. Because they bloom briefly, the blossoms are often seen as a metaphor for the ephemeral beauty of living.
