Southwest Airlines has become ensnared in what started as a Republican inside joke after a pilot said the phrase “Let’s go Brandon” over the intercom before a flight.
The anti-Biden war cry “Let’s Go Brandon” is no longer a conservative media phenomenon, it’s infiltrating mainstream popular culture and is now number one and two on iTunes, knocking Adele’s new single into third place.
“Let’s Go Brandon” became a meme after a reporter mistakenly thought a NASCAR race crowd was shouting “Let’s Go Brandon”, instead of “f**k Joe Biden”.

Democrats and Republicans don't agree on much. But they do agree that voter registration lists across the country are a mess.
A new report by the Pew Center on the States finds that more than 1.8 million dead people are currently registered to vote. And 24 million registrations are either invalid or inaccurate.

The Viking longships were powerful naval weapons in their time and were highly valued possessions. Archaeological finds show that the Viking ships were not standardized. Ships varied from designer to designer and place to place, and often had regional characteristics. For example, the choice of material was mostly dictated by the regional forests, such as pine from Norway and Sweden, and oak from Denmark. Moreover, each Viking longship had particular features adjusted to the natural conditions under which it was sailed.

Shield-maidens were women who had chosen to fight as warriors alongside men in Scandinavian folklore and mythology. Shield-maidens also appear in sagas such as Hervarar saga ok Heiðreks and in Gesta Danorum.
The Drakkar or dragon-ship (from Drage meaning Dragon and Kar meaning ship), was the largest of the Viking longships. Of clinker built construction, the longship was a low, sturdy, long, narrow, open galley with high stems and sterns with up to 40 oarsmen per side.
Skol is a friendly expression used before drinking, and it shows friendship and companionship. The Vikings use the phrase while raising their glasses, as a form of toast -- Good Health!
