Ganesh is a Hindu deity that is Lord of Success and the destroyer of Obstacles. He is also worshiped as the god of education, knowledge, wisdom, wealth, literature, and the fine arts. he is worshiped before any venture is started.

In Buddhist symbolism the lotus is symbolic of purity of the body, speech, and mind as while rooted in the mud, its flowers blossom on long stalks as if floating above the muddy waters of attachment and desire. It is also symbolic of detachment as drops of water easily slide off its petals.

The Egyptians believed the Beetle was sacred because of how they would roll around dung. They thought it resembled the way the gods would move the sun around the sky. They also noticed how the beetle would lay eggs inside the dung and mysteriously beetles would emerge from the dung. The beetle is therefore connected with the god Kephri, which meant “come into being”, “develop”, and “create”.
