It's week 2 of my new PSA Series. Here are some resources for understanding why people are tearing down statues, and what you can do to support the removal of these monuments. As of 2016, 1747 Confederate statues are still standing in the United States (though some of them have been tumbling down, lately!!!) Thinking about how learning is the antidote. But also how an education is a privilege in this country. Critical thinking is a skill undermined by capitalism: a work force that questions management is no good. We need to work to educate ourselves, but also to make learning accessible and inclusive. Education Is Power.
