The Flowers in Vases series is based on sketches of flowers growing in the garden and at Garden Centres. Some of the vases are from my collection, others are invented.

Flowers in a vase series are painted from a collection of flower sketches captured as they were at their most spectacular.

Camellia's had to be in this flower series, they are delicate and stunning flowers. My mother planted our Camllia over 3o years ago. The flowers are the size of my palm of my hand.
