Yet another gorgeous bird!!! This is a kiskadee, I took the picture in Panama. These birds are common in Panama....but not in the US so I'm totally in love with them.

This resplendant quetzal flying through the cloudforests of Panama was a lot of fun to paint. I was so happy with how it turned out. They are tricky for me to paint. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did!

I took the photo of this lighthouse on a cloudy, stormy day, but when I went to paint the lighthouse in watercolor, I didn't want to have a sad painting. I decided I wanted it to be cheerful, bright, and happy, so I gave it a blue sky, flowers, and blue mountains. I was so happy with how the colorful bright colors add hope and peace. I hope you love this painting as much as I do.

I got the reference photo for these bluebirds off of Paint My Photo, and I changed it drastically when I started painting. I love how this bluebird watercolor turned out! I used masking fluid to paint the water droplets. Thank you for visiting my shop. Your support means a lot to me ?

I have gotten so busy with life that I've started getting up at 4 AM to paint! This watercolor is hand painted, a ruby throated hummingbird sipping at a pink hibiscus. Enjoy!

This is my second iteration of a ruby throated hummingbird at a hibiscus flower. I used watercolor paint and a micron pen. The color scheme is neutral tones, soft blues, and cool pinks. I've started getting up at 4 AM to paint. My life just got so crazy I didn't have time to paint anymore! I thought getting up at 4 would be difficult, but since I know it is to paint, it's not hard at all.

I was SO STOKED that this male resplendant quetzal let me get close enough to take a picture.

Red and yellow Heliconias are so common here in Panama. They are a gorgeous flower and I've often wanted to paint one. They also grow in the park next to my house! This is my second attempt at a watercolor heliconia and I really like how it turned out. Hoping you do too!

I make more quetzal sales than any other sales with my RedBubble shop. Lately quetzal sales have picked up, probably due to increased tourism around quetzal season.
