This brown and tan long hair chihuahua has the right idea about early mornings and coffee. He might have gotten a little eager with the knife and the stabbing, but to be fair if you try to talk to me in the morning before I've had my coffee I can't guarantee I won't have the same reaction.

Everyone loves both tacos and cats, and my cat Fox is no exception. He will often try to steal our tacos directly from our plates. This was his halloween costume a few years ago and I decided that he is always ready for Taco Tuesday.

I love coffee and sugar gliders, so I thought why not combine them? Digital rendering of a sugar glider taken from my watercolor. For all the die hard fans of gothic literature the tale of Poe is one that lingers with the knocking of the raven knocking on his chamber door because of his love for the long lost Lenore while yelling "Nevermore." A raven stands with a banner in its beak that reads "For A Love Like Poe," suggestive of the gothic romance associated with the famous writer Edgar Allan Poe. The use of watercolor gives the raven a soft yet vibrant appearance, highlighting an artistic blend of purples and blacks.

Originally this started off as a marker drawing and this is my digital rendering of the Nope Mouse. I love him in every incarnation. He leans against the wall, holding his beer, staring out into space with the single word in a speech bubble that says "Nope"

I too have a feral love of tacos and of people minding their own business. SO...if you see me clutching to a taco and chowing down like that crispy thin shell holds my life essence. I'm gonna need you to Mind Ya Business.

This cat is me nearly every morning when I go to make my coffee. It's about a 50/50 guess as to whether I get hot or cold brew. But without that sweet black nectar I'm pretty much useless for the day, so I end up drinking it no matter what.

This is a line and scene from my latest story about a paranormal detective agency and I wanted to get it illustrated how I envisioned it in my head. There are two skeleton hands with fingers pointing inward toward a rotating purple atom. They meet together over the top of an outline of an anatomical heart and the words "Until there is" are curved over the top in pink and "Nothing left between us" curving around the bottom.

Mary Shelley was famous for her eccentric love of Percy Shelley. They consecrated their relationship at her mother's grave and after his death she carried his calcified heart around in his final poem, Adonis. This is a Valentine design for the literature goth nerds.

There’s an old saying about catching flies with honey and this is a funny take on it. I've seen jokes similar to this, but I decided to add on the extra bit about choosing your own adventure.

This is an image that has been with me for such a long time. The idea of good and evil, pleasure and pain, loss and joy. They are two sides of the same coin, with both beauty and horror and sadness infinitely stretched between them and making them such different experiences. but also, so closely tied that they could be touching.

I have deep obsessions with both outer space, galaxies, nebula, and cats. So, in this piece I decided to combine the two into one image. I like to think of all the strange things that happen out in the deep space and imagine that somewhere there are chaos cats running through the cosmos.

In my life I have been privileged to have had many different cats that became part of our family. I worked at a vet clinic for 16 years, and rescued so many out of pure love and always got love back.This painting is of my bottle fed kitty, Fox.

This line comes from a poem I wrote that goes: I have loved - without limits, those who didn't deserve it, those who couldn't love me back, friends, family, my daughter, All without hesitation. But the hardest trick I ever learned Was how to love myself.
