I wanted to paint one of these beautiful birds for a long time, so after I finished working on a children's book illustrations, I found the right moment to do it. I used my trusty watercolors for this one and of course,aquarelle paper.

This character is one of my otherworldly characters, a series of artistic, odd creatures I created for an alternative, adult coloring book.
