This is a stylized, quick still life I did based on one of my favorite types of flowers, Hydrangeas. The simple green background gives the viewer's eye a place to rest as the flowers, which are the focal point of the work, are energetic and full of movement. This is a great design for anyone who loves these beautiful blooms as much as I do!
I decided to take a different approach the the normal flower picture. Bathing the daisies in a cool color scheme, while adding small designs and accents to various portions with Sharpie marker, gives this acrylic painting a look that stands out from the norm. If that sounds like you, or if you just like flowers or nature, this piece would be a perfect choice.
This original painting was inspired by a family trip to my hometown of Cape May, New Jersey, specifically the Cape May Point Nature Center. I love how the sun reflects off the surface of the water and looking at this work, I can almost feel the soft ocean breeze on my skin and see it gently nudge each of the flowers lining the pond. I hope it does the same for you, nature lover!

It is amazing how seemingly random objects can come together to make a cohesive work, blending color and shape in unique ways depending on the angle from which you paint them. This still life really stands out to me because of the vibrant contrast between the various objects in the foreground against the solid background. It makes a great piece for anyone who loves the random little things in life.
Bay View Sunset is an acrylic painting inspired by my family vacation to Sea Isle City, NJ. This piece is perfect for anyone who loves sunsets and desires to give their decor or accessories a unique look. It also makes a great gift for the beach lover in your life!
