This is a design for a character in a comic in the works. I liked the design so much, I thought I would see if anyone else might like it on their shirt.
My parents got someone to do their shirts with vinyl, so it was just black and it hit me like a slap in the face. I can't believe I didn't think of making it just straight up black.
My dad got someone to do an embroidery on a jacket to wear while he is riding on his can-am, or you know out and about. The embroidery had red on it, so I decided to to do something like it. I didn't care too much for the design, so I did my own.
I saw a cardinal outside my window and the idea hit me. If you don't know, the cardinal sins are the seven deadly sins. Pride, lust, gluttony, wrath, sloth, envy, and greed.
I got the idea thanks to Cyber Punk. In the game, you are called 'Samurai'. I got to thinking, that doesn't really make much sense and that it would probably be better if you were called ronin. That's when I decided I wanted to do designs for those and quickly came to wanting to do oni designs as well. I personally want an oni design, so I made it first.
This is a design I am working on and believe I will be using for my comic/game Born of the Elements. I figured it would make a decent design for a shirt or something.
My on going bird designs. Arguably, this should have been my first one =p, considering I am doing Southeast Cardinals and allies. With that being said, this is the Northern Cardinal XD. They are in the Southeast, I promise.
my next bird on the list, that is not red. I am focusing on Southeastern birds first and what is considered cardinals and allies. This is the Blue Grosbeak.
Sometimes I forget or don't think about how much I like birds. I have been looking at something someone has done and it has greatly inspired me to do something sort of like it. So, I am going to try to tackle birds. A whole bunch of bird designs coming in, slowly but surely.
Spring has sprung and has brought the angry screaming wrens. I love wrens, they are pretty much my favorite bird. I have been wanting to do a design with them and this just hit me in the brain, so here it is.
This started as a simple tattoo design and I added more to it to look more Mucha inspired as well as have more design overall. The woman is actually a design for the Norse goddess Hel. Which is why half of her looks the way it does. The more greenish part of her is the half that is decayed.
