This floral rabbit is named after my sister Virginia. Like me, she loved spring and Easter colors more than anything, so this bunny’s color palette is right up our allies! She passed away in 2022, so I think this bunny clothed in spring pastel flowers with silver glitter line work and patterned glitter background is a fitting tribute to her. ????
This floral donkey I’ve named Poppy was inspired by a friend’s donkey, Paco, that they keep in their cow pasture. Paco fends off pesky coyotes with his powerful hind legs if they try to prey on the cows and their calves. Yes, we have coyotes in Florida! They’ve even been seen hanging around town.
Poppy is decked out in gold glitter, red and yellow hibiscus flowers and green and blue leaves with gold glitter grass in the background.
I named this new floral chicken illustration Deborah, after my paternal grandmother. She was a farmer’s wife. When Grandma made fried chicken (which was amazing), you knew exactly where it came from — her own chicken coop. And she personally killed it, plucked it and cleaned it before frying it up for Sunday dinner.
I decided that sunflowers and dahlias were perfect for a floral chicken with a background of random sized eggs, and I gave the whole thing the glitter treatment.
