The fluidity of the image helps transitioning from a wave to a cloud, bending the delimitation of water and clouds, the horizon line is absent. The gradient from blue to white gives the picture an imaterial look, the painting is made by applying lots of thin layers by using a very powerful blue pigment and a bit of white. The blue in some areas is fragile. It is like a fleeting moment of meditation.

I was very inspired by Yves Klein's use of blue, I wanted to create a deep and powerful blue, a fluid one so I can maintain the surface of the painting flat and still generate movement.
