The Super Crown is a power-up item that made its debut in New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. It is a puffy, mushroom-like pink headgear surrounded by a golden chaplet with eyes, exclusively used to transform Toadette into Peachette. The Super Crown's top appears to resemble the mushroom head of Toadette, being pink with white spots. When the crown is on top of Peachette's head, however, the crown itself transforms alongside her. The crown shrinks to fit her head, the eyes disappear, and the pattern on the top changes to four small white spots rather than two large white ones.

According to the game Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, when a human (or half-human in Laharl's case) who has led a worthless life (e.g. a thief or murderer) dies, the soul is sewn into the body of a Prinny. After being reborn, the newly created Prinny will serve as a soldier, slave, or servant in the Netherworld or Celestia until it has earned reincarnation, and leave its servitude in a ritual involving the Red Moon. In Makai Kingdom, however, Prinny bodies are said to be manufactured in Ruskan (inventor demons) factories, with the assembly line never seen. According to Prinny Research Squad, a Prinny body that has multiple souls in its skin will become fat and flabby.

The most ancient clowns have been found in the Fifth dynasty of Egypt, around 2400 BC. Unlike court jesters, clowns have traditionally served a socio-religious and psychological role, and traditionally the roles of priest and clown have been held by the same persons.Peter Berger writes, "It seems plausible that folly and fools, like religion and magic, meet some deeply rooted needs in human society."For this reason, clowning is often considered an important part of training as a physical performance discipline, partly because tricky subject matter can be dealt with, but also because it requires a high level of risk and play in the performer.

Coffee is a brewed drink prepared from roasted coffee beans, the seeds of berries from certain Coffea species. When coffee berries turn from green to bright red in color – indicating ripeness – they are picked, processed, and dried.[2] Dried coffee seeds (referred to as "beans") are roasted to varying degrees, depending on the desired flavor. Roasted beans are ground and then brewed with near-boiling water to produce the beverage known as coffee. Coffee is darkly colored, bitter, slightly acidic and has a stimulating effect in humans, primarily due to its caffeine content.[3] It is one of the most popular drinks in the world,[4] and can be prepared and presented in a variety of ways

Weapons are recurrent items in most games, and this is no different in the Disgaea series. Weapons' main function is to boost ATK (attack) power, but it can boost other stats as well. Like other items, such as accessories and consumables, weapons can be inhabited by Specialists (dubbed Innocents in later games) that boost a particular statistic or attribute. Weapons can be made stronger by entering the Item World, clearing its stages and subduing said Specialists (killing them in combat).

Normally, a mind flayer would use its mind blast ability to stun a few foes and then drag them away to feed. Once it had its victims, it would attach all of its tentacles to the head of one of its prey. Then, the mind flayer sucked out the brain, instantly killing the creature, as long as it only had one head. The mind flayer used its other spells mainly to enslave its minions and keep them under total control. It also used its spells on the battlefield.

Drifting is a driving technique where the driver intentionally oversteers, with loss of traction, while maintaining control and driving the car through the entirety of a corner. The technique causes the rear slip angle to exceed the front slip angle to such an extent that often the front wheels are pointing in the opposite direction to the turn (e.g. car is turning left, wheels are pointed right or vice versa, also known as opposite lock or counter-steering). The sport of drifting is not to be confused with the four wheel drift, a classic cornering technique established in Grand Prix and sports car racing. Drifting is traditionally done by clutch kicking, then intentionally oversteering and countersteering.
