This vintage tee pokes fun at the popular rallying cry of gun supporters, "Support your right to bare arms". The joke version goes, "Support your right to arm bears". It's a 1980s original loaded with awesome cartoon graphics and great cotton feel. Very comfy, humorous to look at, and has a ton of life left. The right to bear arms is the beloved second amendment right in the United States Constitution. It is intended for people to lawfully own weapons for the protection of life, liberty, and property.

Jerry Springer was much more than the host of a crazy daytime talk show, he was a beloved adopted native son of Greater Cincinnati. He was a member of City Council before becoming mayor. He later went into broadcasting and politics. It was worth staying up for on Action 5 News. Springer co-anchored with Norma Rashid, and it was here he came up with his famous sign-off "take care of yourself and each other." *A portion of proceeds benefits Tender Mercies in Cincinnati, a charity Springer supported over the years.

Scum of the Earth WKRP in Cincinnati Scum Of The Earth WKRP In Cincinnati Arguably the second-funniest episode of WKRP in Cincinnati. In “Hoodlum Rock,” the station, looking to better promote its new rock & roll format, decides to promote a concert by an emerging punk band from England called Scum of the Earth. Real-life glam rocker (and later TV actor) Michael Des Barres portrays lead singer Dog. At first, the plan was to portray them in typical punk garb: ripped clothes, safety pins, and odd haircuts. Understandable for the time but also a bit hackneyed and not very believable. According to Josh “J. Elvis” Weinstein, who directed a documentary about Des Barres, the singer...

October 30, 1978, WKRP’s station manager believed that he had come up with what was “the greatest promotional idea of all time” for Thanksgiving. This promotion involved hiring a helicopter to drop live turkeys at a local mall, but apparently, nobody involved was aware that turkeys are flightless birds: “Something just came out of the back of the helicopter. It’s a dark object. Perhaps a skydiver. A second. A third… No parachute yet. Oh my God! They’re turkeys!” They’re crashing to the earth right in front of our eyes! One just went through the windshield of a parked car! This is terrible! Oh, the humanity! The turkeys are hitting the ground like sacks of wet cement! The crowd is running for their lives!”

Fry’s retailed software, consumer electronics, household appliances, cosmetics, tools, toys, accessories, magazines, technical books, and computer hardware. Fry’s had in-store computer repair and custom computer building services. Fry’s began with one store in Sunnyvale, California, which expanded to 34 stores in nine states at its peak in 2019. The Starck Club was an instant '80s temple of hedonism after opening its doors in 1984 and quickly became the stuff of legend that would be spoken of for decades. In an abandoned concrete warehouse in the old part of Dallas, out past some forgotten railroad tracks, the cutting edge, raw-concrete venue instantly became an unlikely epicenter for 1980s counterculture. The interiors spared no expense: polished black terrazzo floors, shimmering gauze drapes, and a grand staircase that led to a sunken dance floor. It was a celebrity magnet, a haven for the LGBTQ community, the birthplace of America’s electronic dance music culture, but also ground zero for ecstasy, which back then was legal in the state of Texas and sold over the bar.

Far Rockaway High School was a public high school in New York City, at 821 Bay 25th Street in the Far Rockaway neighborhood, in Queens. The school was in operation from 1897 until 2011, ultimately closing as students’ average grades continued to decline. Far Rockaway stopped accepting students in 2008 and closed for good on June 27, 2011 after the final class graduated. This design is based on a late ’50s era artifact that was most likely standard dress for P.E. or a practice shirt for any number of athletic programs.

KDF was first licensed in 1962 as NFO and was the second commercial Nashville station to be assigned to 103.3 MHz, preceded by the original WSM, which occupied this frequency from 1947 until its deletion in 1951. Despite several FM stations already operating in Nashville at the time, receivers were not yet in widespread use, and the relatively few listeners were not enough to attract advertisers, so NFO left the air sometime around 1965. KDF returned in '67 as an album oriented rock station and after nearly 30 years of programming various forms of rock music, KDF reformatted to country music on April 1, 1999. Listeners thought it was an April Fools' joke, but sadly, it was not.

Wherever there is a great triumph, there is usually even greater tragedy. Such is the case with the Los Angeles hardcore-punk outfit known as the Germs, who, in four short years, lived dangerously, playing fast, brash rock 'n' roll with a much dirtier and nastier edge than their contemporaries; an edge that would prove to be sharp and deadly for the bands' confused and drug addicted lead singer. They only released a single studio album in 1979, but it was a banger stuffed with 17 songs dripping with aggression, despair, and pure rage. Titled (GI), the all-black cover with an enigmatic blue circle design echoed the Germs' stripped-down aesthetic perfectly and would be synonymous with the band until their untimely undoing in 1980.

Exclusive Top Gun t-shirt shows a goose giving a thumbs up and wearing Nick "Goose" Bradshaw's flight helmet. The shirt reads Talk To Me - followed by the picture of the goose. "Talk to me, Goose" is one of the most famous quotes from the hit 1986 movie Top Gun. There are a couple of moments in Top Gun when Maverick used the quote that appears on this t-shirt. At the beginning of the movie, during an interception with two hostile MiG-28 aircrafts, Maverick said "Talk to me, Goose". Maverick said the quote again later in the movie when his F-14A Tomcat flew through Iceman's jet wash, just before Goose tried to eject, hit his head on the aircraft and was killed.

The Man-Thing is a large, slow-moving, empathic, humanoid swamp monster living in the Florida Everglades near a Seminole reservation and the fictitious town of Citrusville in Cypress County, Florida. A young biochemist, Dr. Theodore Sallis, is working in the Everglades as part of the Project Gladiator team, a group of scientists attempting to recreate the Super Soldier Serum. Dr. Sallis is transformed into The Man-Thing through the synergistic interaction of mystical energy and swamp mutagens, coupled with a dose of the Super Soldier Serum. Though the beast now lacks a normal human intellect and has shed any desire to communicate with human society, it nevertheless often becomes an accidental hero as it stumbles upon people in need.

Kenny Rogers Roasters is a chain of chicken restaurants founded in 1991 by country musician Kenny Rogers and former KFC CEO, John Y. Brown, Jr. While the restaurants were relatively short lived in America, they continue to flourish in Asian countries. This design is based on one of the original '91 logos (yes, there were several) and is coupled with the fictional "It's the wood that makes it good" tagline made famous by the '96 Seinfeld episode, aptly titled 'The Chicken Roaster' in which a Kenny Rogers Roasters sets up shop across the street from Jerry and Kramer's apartment building. Unfortunately, their unusually large chicken sign causes problems for everybody as it's warm glow fills their apartments with 'red death.'
