Save the California Delta – Stop the Tunnel! This design is a detailed collage of important aspects of the Sacramento San Joaquin Delta outlined by a Chinook salmon. It is a collaboration between artist Amanda Smith and groups raising awareness about how the State's proposal to built a massive 45-mile long 39-foot in diameter tunnel to divert water from the Sacramento River just south of Sacramento would irreparably damage the California Delta.
