This is an old Chrysler car outside a house. This drawing is based on a photograph taken in Seatoun Wellington in 1991. Seatoun is a great suburb and I have many happy memories of walking around that area with my grandparents When I was little when we traveled down from Auckland to visit and my Grandad worked in this area.
This is a blue temple that I found while driving around on Google street view. Oh well.... there is currently a pandemic happening and we are getting confined to our houses. It is one way in the change my subject from time to time without leaving the house. This temple can be found in Greece, but I bet you already knew that.

This is Chancery Square in Auckland city in 2012. It's an older part of the city and is about five minutes' walk away from where I worked at my first job when I left school in the early 80s. I have always loved this part of Auckland and it brings back some pleasant memories for me.
The car was added because I thought it belonged.

This is based on a photo I took in the main street of Hamilton, New Zealand. This is the old bank and it has been converted into a restaurant. I have been there many times and it is a great place to eat. The original safe is still there and forms part of the kitchen.

This is a house I saw in Wellington, New Zealand. A very wild and wooly place with lots of crazy old houses on extreme slopes mad angles. This house was built on a tiny corner and seemed to overhang it. The old car was artistic license.

Matanaka Farm is near Waikouaiti in Otago, New Zealand. The five buildings are the oldest surviving farm buildings that are still in their original position in the country. The farm is owned and administered by Heritage New Zealand
This drawing was inspired by a photo I took when I was visiting Otorohanga.
It is an old shop that had been repainted in vibrant colors and had an amazing mural on the side.
This small town is the gateway to the Waitomo Caves and held a yearly 'Kiwiana Festival until 2007.
I can be found out and about most weekends photographing old, weird and wonderful buildings.

This is part two of a three-part series.
In Napier New Zealand there are six weatherboard houses facing the sea. These buildings have been called "the six sisters" This drawing is of two of the six houses. Maybe there are more to come in this series.
The `Six Sisters` is the name given to these 1890s Victorian houses on Napier`s Marine Parade. Apparently, they were built by an architect who wanted a two-story house for each of his daughters. They are among the few survivors of the 1931 earthquake.
These houses do not look like this in my drawing as a result of the earthquake. They look like this because I do not like drawing straight lines.

Think - Don't Do Drugs :-) This is a drawing I did back in 81. We made 1000 prints and sold them at the markets in Auckland city every time we needed party money. The funds kept us entained for over a year.
