If you cheer theft at the expense of one for another, that makes you a cheerleader for injustice. True charity comes from voluntary actions, not theft at gunpoint. If socialism was just "sharing," then that's what we would call it. There wouldn't need to be another word.
The breakfast of...champions? Something doesn't taste quite right. And yet it must taste so sweet for such a disgusting thing to convince so many. Maybe the free stolen loot has something to do with it.

The most lethal religion by far, is statism. An estimated 262 million in the 20th century alone, and that doesn't even include war, which killed at least a hundred million more. And governments give us perpetual war. Without the state, what reason would I have to cross an ocean to kill someone I've never met before? Freedom? How did my freedom get all the way over there?
Good ideas don't require force, because they're good ideas. People will adopt them because of their inherent goodness. If you're not free to opt out, then you aren't free.
