That is the conclusion of a new study by scientists from the Copenhagen Studies on Asthma in Childhood Research Center (COPSAC), Denmark. Cats neutralise the effect of a gene that, when activated, doubles the risk of developing asthma in children. Having a cat in the home when a child is born means that this gene is never activated. Cats remove the increased risk of developing asthma among children with a particular variation of the gene 17q21, called TT, which has the strongest impact on whether or not a child could develop asthma. Cats are unique animals because they some of them have thumbs. They can theorically hear dolphins. They can’t see below their nose and that’s why they keep missing food in front of them. Cats sweat through their paws and they can’t taste sweetness. Adult cats only meow to communicate with humans. They can recognise their owner’s voice but too cool to care (lol).

They are born with blue eyes and they love to knead. Kneading is a sign for a cat/kitten seeking comfort and chose you to provide it. Their whiskers acts as a measuring tool if they tries to enter small spaces.

Akizuki, the cat is a Maine Coon cat which is currently own by The Mighty Jingles. I myself is a subscriber of his Youtube channel ever since 2012 and i really enjoy it. I enjoy his knowledge about history, the message he gives through his channels and how he ridicules the dummies. It is just priceless. Anyway, back in Apr 2019, Mighty Jingles decided to adopt a Maine Coon cat and named her Akizuki. She was the cutest cat i have ever seen and i have become her fan ever since. So, in commemorative of her 1st year birthday, I've made this design for her and I hope you enjoy it.
