The Merry Melodies animated film from 1936, "I Love to Singa," starring Owl Jolson. and directed by Tex Avery, is one of the greatest musical shorts of all time. This original art is our jazz-inspired tribute to that amazing little owl.
Jazzy Muppet Mah Na Mah Na is famous for his self-titled song, but that song was originally written by Italian composer Piero Umiliani, for the adult film, "Sweden, Heaven and Hell," in 1968. In 1970, Mah Na Mah Na performed on Ed Sullivan and the song was cemented in history.
This Art Deco inspired poster features famous jizz-wailer, Max Rebo. Known for playing tougher joints and his mob connections, Max and his band, "the Max Rebo Band," are also known for getting themselves blown up.
The only 70's rock band with a 15 foot talking great white shark on drums, and yet somehow Jabberjaw still gets no respect. (This is the vintage version, check our store for the regular, unweathered version)

Open Up Your Heart and Let the Sunshine In was originally recorded in 1954 and covered a number of times, the most renowned version was from the Flintstones in 1965 by Pebbles and Bamm Bamm. Although Pebbles and Bamm Bamm went on to form a rock band as teenagers in the 1970s, they never approached the classic heights of their early cover.

From the "Bitin' My Style" LP. If you are a vampire then you will know who Richie Suck is. He is probably the greatest vampire pop artist of all time. The t-shirt (and only the t-shirt, because it's Teepublic) comes with the Richie Suck "RS" on the front.
Emmet Otter is a deep cut for Xmas specials. Produced in 1977 by Jim Henson for Canadian TV, Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas still has a strong following after 40 years -- puppets never grow old.

I probably don't have to tell you this is a reference to Alvin and the Chipmunks... but what about Shirley, Squirrely, & Melvin..? So yeah, that was a thing.

To this day, I don't fully get whether episode 11 of season 19 of the Simpsons is some sort of alternative timeline -- it makes absolutely no sense and is regarded as a series low point, but I will always love Homer making music.
This one is a deep cut for Marvel comic fans. Antoine Delsoin (aka the Hypno-Hustler) and his backup singers (the Mercy Killers -- that's actually a good name!) have been known to funk up your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man on a few occasions.

The artichoke from our fictional "Artichoke (Crank That)" album cover. We thought it could stand on it's own, no context needed...
...But if you want the context: this originally comes from a song in the show, the Boondocks, episode 2 of season 3.
