We all have that one person who would go to hell and back for us, and us for them.

Something about this one made me think of the tolerance some women have with the crap they must deal with on a regular basis from ignorant men. If the world died tomorrow, I believe these tolerant and persistent women would be the only ones left standing.

Just a friendly reminder to take a moment and breathe in some fresh air.

Nothing too obscure about this one. I just happened to be listening to John Mellencamp when I was painting it; not the song Little Pink Houses, but because the color was so vibrantly staring me in the face, the title seemed obvious.

When I was making this piece, I somehow placed it on an non-level surface, and the heavy application of black ink dripped toward the left side of the painting. I said to myself, "I guess that's how life goes sometimes." An abstract design created using an intuitive painting process with brilliant pink, orange, aqua-marine and black.
