Our collection is certain foods depend on the tide and currents of the Sea. When tide is low we collect shellfish, when tide is high we can fish.

Turtle Hatchlings are born with many obstacles. Surviving the hatching stage from goannas and pigs digging them up. Rising sea levels can drown eggs or temperatures can also decrease their chances. Once hatched they must then make it across the beach into the sea, Birds will wait for the hatchlings as a easy meal. The hatchlings then must survive alone for the next 30-50years in the sea until they return to the same beach to lay eggs and the cycle begins again.

Quandongs are great for eating, you can also find native pidgeons and flying foxes around quandongs trees and they are also Good to eat. Must also be careful of the cassowary as he loves to eat the quandongs as well.
