Price and Style:
The price goes up the more complex the image; for example inked, colored and with a detailed background. Additional characters in the shot also increase the cost. Sketches and speed paints are available, and most budgets can be accomodated.
Maximum 3 characters in any one image.
Plenty of different styles, just let me know what you want.
How it works:
Simply email me at [email protected] with a short description of what you're after, its purpose (commercial or private commission), and the deadline. I will send you a Question Sheet if I am available to take on the work. This sheet is for you to give me the exact specification of what it is you want.
From here, I can give you a precise price, and we agree a date of completion. You will be able to view the Terms of Service before agreeing to continue with the commission.
Only Paypal is accepted, and buyers must be 18 years or over.
Turnover: Most commissions are completed within 4-6 weeks, depending on the speed of reciprocating emails from the buyer. Rush jobs must be agreed before the commission begins, and really tight deadlines may attract a rush fee.
The artist retains the copyright to the image, unless explicit sale of these rights is agreed at the time of placing the order.
50% of the commission balance is due before work commences. Once a sketch has been approved, the remaining 50% will need to be paid before the image will be finished. Digital high quality files are sent to commissioners via email, or real media images by insured post.
All commissioners receive regular updates and Work-in-Progress shots, and it is strongly encouraged that you communicate any need for changes as we go along, rather than waiting until the image is finished. Most simple changes can be accommodated if communicated as early as possible, often at no extra cost.
Errors or omissions made by the artist will be amended for free, if that information was clearly in the specification and the artist was at fault for forgetting some aspect of the content.
Changes requested by the commissioner that are not in the original specification may attract extra charges, such as redraws, redesigns or color alterations. This is usually not an issue, as you will have ample time to pick a prefered thumbnail layout, and agree to the sketch before the work will continue to inking and coloring. Regular updates will keep the commissioner abreast of progress.
