Anita's Chue's Restaurant, located at 1366 Beacon Street in Coolidge Corner, Brookline, was a culinary venture born from determination and resilience. Despite facing setbacks, such as the rejection of their petition for a "food bar" by the Brookline Board of Selectmen, the restaurant, with a capacity for 200 guests, opened its doors in December. This establishment, an extension of the renowned Cathay House, paid tribute to traditional Chinese cuisine with a menu boasting dishes cooked in Cantonese style from age-old Ming Dynasty recipes.

This is a scan of original advertising for the Beaconsfield Hotel. It holds the same inconsistencies of the original art. The Hotel Beaconsfield is located at 1731 Beacon Street in Brookline, Massachusetts. It was built in 1903 by Henry Whitney, a streetcar magnate, and was originally a 200-room apartment hotel. The building is part of the Beaconsfield Terrace complex, which is a collection of residences with private amenities on the Knapp Estate.

This seal is a scan from an official 1936 Book issued by the town. Brookline /ˈbrʊklaɪn/ is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, in the United States, and part of the Boston metropolitan area. Brookline borders six of Boston's neighborhoods: Brighton, Allston, Fenway–Kenmore, Mission Hill, Jamaica Plain, and West Roxbury. The city of Newton lies to the west of Brookline. Brookline was first settled in 1638 as a hamlet in Boston, known as Muddy River; it was incorporated as a separate town in 1705.

This is a based on 1930s advertising from the S.S. Pierce Company. S. S. Pierce & Co. In 1831, Pierce and his partner, Eldad Worcester, "started out by wholesaling provisions to the ships that crowded what was then a very busy Boston Harbor, but soon enough Pierce was bartering with ship captains, often exchanging his provisions for the delicacies they would bring to Boston from faraway ports."Pierce said, "I may not make money, but I shall make a reputation." The grocery business thrived, due in part to "celebrity customers ... John Quincy Adams, Daniel Webster," and Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr. who said: "I was brought up on S.S. Pierce's groceries and I don't dare change." The 1886 catalog for S. S. Pierce & Co., Importers and Grocers lists

Blinstrub's Village, also known as Blinnie's, is a nightclub that opened in South Boston in 1934. The Lithuanian Jewish immigrant Stanley Blinstrub opened the restaurant and nightclub on the corner of Broadway and D Street in 1934. Blinstrub's Village was one of the largest nightclubs on the East Coast and the premier nightclub in Boston from the late 1920s until it burned down in 1968. The image has some of the imperfections of the original.
