Anita's Chue's Restaurant, located at 1366 Beacon Street in Coolidge Corner, Brookline, was a culinary venture born from determination and resilience. Despite facing setbacks, such as the rejection of their petition for a "food bar" by the Brookline Board of Selectmen, the restaurant, with a capacity for 200 guests, opened its doors in December. This establishment, an extension of the renowned Cathay House, paid tribute to traditional Chinese cuisine with a menu boasting dishes cooked in Cantonese style from age-old Ming Dynasty recipes.

This is a scan of original advertising for the Beaconsfield Hotel. It holds the same inconsistencies of the original art. The Hotel Beaconsfield is located at 1731 Beacon Street in Brookline, Massachusetts. It was built in 1903 by Henry Whitney, a streetcar magnate, and was originally a 200-room apartment hotel. The building is part of the Beaconsfield Terrace complex, which is a collection of residences with private amenities on the Knapp Estate.

Blinstrub's Village, also known as Blinnie's, is a nightclub that opened in South Boston in 1934. The Lithuanian Jewish immigrant Stanley Blinstrub opened the restaurant and nightclub on the corner of Broadway and D Street in 1934. Blinstrub's Village was one of the largest nightclubs on the East Coast and the premier nightclub in Boston from the late 1920s until it burned down in 1968. The image has some of the imperfections of the original.
