Hartland Abbey, North Devon, England Number of views as of 1st September 2017 = 880. Hartland Abbey is the ancestral home of the Stucley family. The Abbey was founded in AD 1157 and lies in a narrow valley leading to a beautiful but isolated section of the North Devon coast. After the dissolution of the monasteries in 1539, the abbey came into the hands of William Abbott, the Sergeant of Henry VIII's wine cellar. It has since been passed down through the generations and has effectively remained in the same family for almost 500 years (though in that time their have been three female heirs) and it has never been sold. This is a perfect tee for a big city girls or boys. Now you can take the city with you, even if your parents make you go to the country! The hand-drawn urban illustration by Anna Grunduls presents houses stuck one on another in a geometrical order. The line doodle drawing consists of simple elements, but makes and intricate graphic pattern. That makes the shirt just as interesting as a canvas painting. The drawing works on kids tees as well as adult ones. The artwork is clean and very orderly, yet still funny and whimsical.
