I lived in a small town by Stuttgart/Germany for a few years. The landscape around there is very beautiful. This painting shows the Hohenlohe Open Air Museum in Schwaebisch Hall-Wackersdorf. It is painted with Da Vinci Watercolor tubes on Arches cold pressed paper.

Half timbered cottages in the village of Checkendon Oxfordshire. This village lies At the start of the Chiltern Hills as they rise on the north side of the River Thames. Many of the houses here are wooden framed with brick infill. These cottages line the road through Checkendon as it winds its way from Woodcote to Stoke Row. Originally built in 1589, Edmondsham House, in the small village of Edmondsham (between Verwood and Cranborne), Dorset, England is a curious mix of Tudor and Georgian architecture. The grounds are open to members of the public (free of charge to members of the Historic Houses Association) and include pleasant lawns and an interesting walled garden. Date: 1st June 2014. Hestercombe House, May 2021 Originally built in the 16th century, Hestercombe House (West Monkton, near Taunton, Somerset, England) is a historic, grade 2 listed, country house in the Quantock Hills. During the second world war, the house was used as the headquarters of the British 8th Corp, and later as an administrative centre for Somerset County Council, and an emergency call centre for the Somerset Fire Brigade. The house is surrounded by gardens laid out in the early 1900s by Gertrude Jekyll and Edwin Lutyens. Date: 27th May 2021.
