"Sunset Grill" is a song by American rock musician Don Henley from his second solo studio album Building the Perfect Beast (1984). The song peaked at number 7 on the Billboard Top Rock Tracks chart in January 1985.[1] Released as the fourth single from the album in August 1985, it peaked at number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 in October 1985.

Looking over from the moorings on the Henley (Oxfordshire) side of the River Thames to the Remenham (Berkshire) side where the crew' tents and grandstands are being erected for Henley's annual Royal Regatta. This prestigious event which attracts rowers and spectators from home and abroad has been ongoing since 1839. The 'Royal' addition to its name came when Prince Albert became patron, a position taken on by all reigning monarchs since then. The Regatta lasts for five days at the start of July. Donald Hugh Henley is an American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, and a founding member of the Eagles. He was the drummer and lead vocalist for the Eagles from 1971 until the band broke up in 1980, and he dropped those duties for the group's reunion since 1994.

Landing stages along the river bank in the town of Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire. This image has been processes to simulate a pencil drawing. In the background is the bridge over the river taking road traffic towards Maidenhead in Berkshire. It dates from 1786 and is a Grade 1 listed historical structure. On the opposite (Remenham) bank is the world famous Leander Rowing Club. Founded in 1818 it's one of the oldest rowing clubs in the world and the oldest non-academic one.

The road bridge at Henley on Thames which carries the A4130 from Henley in Oxfordshire over the river to Remenham in Berkshire. Built to replace an earlier wooden structure, this bridge was designed by the architect William Hayward in 1781 and was completed in 1784, the builder being John Townesend of Oxford. On the left here is the landing stage of the Leander Rowing Club reminding us that Henley is most famous for the Royal Regatta held every July (in normal times!). The bridge is a Grade 1 listed structure.

A narrowboat making its way upriver at Henley-on-Thames and approaching Marsh Lock. The wooden walkway to the lock can be seen centre right. This photograph was captured from the Thames Path, a long-distance National trail following the Thames from Cricklade in the Cotswolds to the Thames Barrier in London. Henley-on-Thames is famous for the annual Royal Regatta which attracts rowers from all over the world. A digital drawing from my original photograph.

Standing on the historic bridge at Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire looking upriver. Here there are cafes, bars and restaurants overlooking the River Thames. Here also can be found boatyards where everything from rowing boats to river launches can be hired - or perhaps go on a river trip for an hour or two. This is a historic area for sport and is the site of the famous Henley Royal Regatta which has been held since 1839, gaining 'Royal' status under the patronage of Prince Abert in 1851. Looking across the River Thames to Henley in Oxfordshire. Here we can see the boathouses with their balconies and outside staircases just downstream from the town's bridge. Behind can be seen the towers of the old brewery - still in operation but not in Henley any more! The stretch of river here is most famous for the annual Henley Royal Regatta run since 1839 for 1 mile 55o yds from Temple Island almost to this spot! A digital oil painting from my original photograph of a large vintage boat moored on the bank of the River Thames at Henley in Oxfordshire. This lovely old boat is almost a floating garden with containers of plants on the deck! The image was captured on a walk along the Thames Path just above Henley. Across the river is the Berkshire bank of the river. After a sunny day it's now clouding over!

Further ahead is Marsh Lock and weir. The Thames Path is a long-distance National trail from the Cotswolds to London.
