Wish I was a little more organised in recording my methodology... I watch quite a few of my colleagues... creating works of art and masterpieces of vlogs, and youtube videography and I don't seem to be able to put things together quite the way that some of them do... I think I shot this in full frame, with a 135mm vintage F4 Jupiter 11 lens ~ which I convinced the chap at camera club to part with so that I could continue creating interesting images... The chap was quite a specialised motor sports photographer in his hay days... and I managed to haggle a reasonable price by doing the Dawson's real deal of putting the money down on the table. The sun was starting to set at Widemouth Bay, Cornwall, United Kingdom when the sun disappeared behind this cloud giving beautiful rays of sunlight through the cloud.

Dramatic sunrise over the Northumbrian coast off the beach at Blyth. A strong onshore wind had whipped up the North Sea under a storm cloud but there was a layer of brightness which illuminated the horizon with its wind turbines. The two piers and the lighthouse at the mouth of the River Blyth are also clearly visible.

This is the first photo I took on the Isle Of Skye. I'm lucky to have taken this, since there was a mix-up over keys at the house we rented, and I had crawl through the bathroom window to get in. While in the process of unloading the car, I turned around to notice the crepuscular rays, aka god rays, or sun rays, forming over Loch Eishort. Moments later, they were gone. Since this was taken from the house we rented on the Sleat Peninsula, near Tokavaig, many variations on this view will be forthcoming. The hills in the background are the Cuillins.

Working fast and well prepped for all conditions... I quickly swopped out lens, for this light ray capture behind the shaded backdrop of Conwy Castle. It all happened so fast, that I've quite forgotten what settings, but I was shooting manually with vintage 135mm glass, I think..! Had an 85 with me but I don't think I quite had the reach and so had to change glass on the fly... I then worked in post production to tease out the light and get the separation - that I was looking for... An elderly gentleman, remarked that it would be a spectacular sunset and that it would look, good - in black and white, but I kinda liked the colour much better...!
