Dartmouth Harbour, Devon, UK Dartmouth Harbour (also Dart Harbour) is a natural port located in Dartmouth, Devon, England. It is situated at the mouth of the River Dart on the English Channel. Bayard's Cove Fort is a small fort, which was built to defend the harbour's entrance. The small tidal harbour at Seaton Sluice in Northumberland is situated on the North East Coast of England. This image was captured on a bright morning in August under a blue sky which reflected on the calm waters of the Seaton Burn as it flowed into the North Sea while a mermaid was sitting on the harbour wall!

Tenby Harbour And Town Houses Tenby is both a walled seaside town in Pembrokeshire, Wales, on the western side of Carmarthen Bay, and a local government community. Notable features include 2+1⁄2 miles of sandy beaches and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, the 13th century medieval town walls, including the Five Arches barbican gatehouse, Tenby Museum and Art Gallery, the 15th century St. Mary's Church, and the National Trust's Tudor Merchant's House. Grand Harbour and the city of Valletta from the Lower Barrakka Gardens. Grand Harbour is a natural harbour on the island of Malta. It has been substantially modified over the years with extensive docks, wharves, and fortifications. Valletta city can be seen in the foreground while the area of the Three Cities can be seen across the harbour. The walls and bastions are from the 16th and 17th Centuries. Canon 6D, zoom lens. Seaton Sluice harbour in Northumberland is a tidal harbour for small craft and this image was shot at high tide on a calm, sunny afternoon in late November looking eastwards over the harbour towards the North Sea.

Mousehole Harbour, Cornwall, England, Selective Colouring Mousehole is a historic fishing village dating back to the 13th century – a market started here in 1292, and it was a popular West Cornwall fishing town. It was much more significant throughout the medieval period than neighbouring Penzance, which is much larger nowadays. Due to where it is positioned, the seas here were particularly turbulent – which meant that the Mousehole sailors gained quite the reputation for being very tough!

Often in the morning ~ I get in the car and follow the light... this morning was one of them..! I had three sites in mind, but without looking at any apps - I was more or less flying blind as to where sunrise would occur... I just followed the light and the clouds and stumbled upon this area as a setting... The tall masts visible on the horizon offered a focus point for accuracy and pulled on my eye with the sunlight piercing through the clouds, yet gently shadowed by a large cloud structure... giving rise to an early morning feeling and low light... The blues and the yellows working well as contrasting colours - accented in post...

Tenby Harbour Boats During Georgian and Victorian times, Tenby became a popular seaside resort. The promenades on both sides of the old town on the Esplanade and the Norton both contribute to the outstanding architectural look of the town. The classic postcard view of Tenby harbour is from The Norton, a road that runs along the cliff top above North Beach.

I spent pretty much my entire first trip to Akaroa being astounded by the beauty. I spent my entire day just wandering the shoreline, and after dinner I snuck out of a game of Scrabble at my hostel to be greeted by this beauty. Taken in 2008 using my Panasonic FZ18.
