A design for all chronic illness warriors who like me, suffer from CFS/ME. Illustrated by me (@yourachingart_cfs). This design also demonstrates how strong and brave you need to be to survive every day, fighting an invisible battle. This design was made to show love and support for the chronically ill community. 1 in 6 people worldwide are disabled. It’s a minority that anyone can join at any time, regardless of ethnicity, skin color, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or age.

Sometimes chronic illness means not feeling your best. In fact, sometimes it means you feel like death warmed over. How very goth.

Many people don't understand that chronic illness is usually a lifelong condition. Help explain that with this uniquely awesome design.

Sometimes when you have an invisible chronic illness, you have that incredible urge to say your feelings out loud! Just because someone with an invisible disability does not appear to be disabled or ill does not mean they are not. Treating someone with an invisible disability like they can just get over it or that they don't look sick really hurts.

People mostly mean well, but the “chronic” part of chronic illness means we can’t and won’t get well soon.

People often shame chronically ill people by saying they are lazy. Much like Sam the sloth who likes to sit peacefully and meditate. It's a way of saving our energy and sometimes we have no choice but to sit still and rest for a while.
