1 in 6 people worldwide are disabled. It’s a minority that anyone can join at any time, regardless of ethnicity, skin color, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or age.

Sometimes chronic illness means not feeling your best. In fact, sometimes it means you feel like death warmed over. How very goth.

Just because someone with an invisible disability does not appear to be disabled or ill does not mean they are not. Treating someone with an invisible disability like they can just get over it or that they don't look sick really hurts.
