George Orwell, born Eric Blair in India in 1903, was an English novelist, essayist, journalist, and critic. He is known for his visionary works such as Animal Farm and Nineteen Eighty-four, as well as his non-fiction classics Down and Out in Paris in London, The Road to Wigan Pier, and Homage to Catalonia.

Ontario has elected one of the most regressive, evil, small-minded, hateful governments it has ever seen. Doug Ford has only been in office since June 2018, and already he has cut so much funding, many families are fearing the worst. I personally know many many people who have lost jobs, or funding for programs they were involved in. He's working to privatize our health care, close our food terminal, and make class sizes absolutely unmanageable for teachers, among other things. He claims to be for the people, but his actions say that some people are more equal than others.

George Orwell was an English novelist, essayist, and critic famous for his novels Animal Farm (1945) and Nineteen Eighty-four. His powerful antiutopian novel explores the dangers of Totalitarian rule which many believe is still relevant today under different governments across Europe such as Francisco Franco's Spain or Italy’s Mussolini regime during the World War II era. In addition to this work is highly acclaimed internationally it also had a great impact on society both domestically here in America where certain policies were influenced by what he wrote about; namely " Telescene" a term taken from cart before We Go Into hauled oxen - There Must Be Some Cows
