The Love Boat was an American dramedy tv series set on the luxury cruise ship, S.S. Pacific Princess, which ran May 5, 1977 until Feb 27, 1987, plus, four three-hour long specials aired in 1986, 1987, and 1990. The series revolves around the ship's captain Merrill Stubing and a handful of its crew, with several passengers—played by various guest star actors for each episode—having romantic and humorous adventures. It was part of ABC's popular Saturday-night lineup of the time, which also included Fantasy Island until that series ended two years earlier in 1984.

Founded by Ralph Matthews and Karl Hassel in Chicago, Illinois, as Chicago Radio Labs in 1918 as a small producer of amateur radio equipment. The name "Zenith" came from ZN'th, a contraction of its founders' ham radio call sign, 9ZN. They were joined in 1921 by Eugene F. McDonald, and Zenith Radio Company was formally incorporated in 1923. The show focused on former members of a fictitious Special Forces unit known as The A-Team that were court-martialed for a crime they had not committed. They were convicted and sentenced to military prison, but later escaped and began working as soldiers of fortune, while trying to clear their names and avoid capture by authorities. John "Hannibal" Smith, Arthur Templeton "Faceman" Peck, H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock, and Bosco Albert "B.A." Baracus. Although not part of the military unit, Allen was an intrepid reporter who worked with the team and is considered an additional member.

The Facts of Life is an American television sitcom that ran from August 24, 1979, to May 7, 1988, making it one of the longest-running sitcoms of the '80s. The series was a spin-off of Diff'rent Strokes, the series featured the Drummonds' former housekeeper Edna Garrett becoming the housemother of a dormitory at Eastland School, a private all-girls school in Peekskill, New York.

The show starred Lynda Carter as Carole and Loni Anderson as Sydney, two women with little in common except sharing Raymond as an ex-husband. When Raymond winds up murdered, Carole and Sydney set out to find his killer and eventually decide to run the detective agency Raymond has left them. Despite having two of TV's hottest stars onboard, the series was set to fail from the start. The show's creator and director was canned after the pilot was completed, which lead to him walking with the writing team and their 13 episode scripts, something that lead to things going downhill after the pilot movie.
